I would like to kindly ask if it is possible to just replace some modules in HP Rompaq BIOSes. I would like to to try to rebuild 8710p/w BIOS with nVidia Quadro FX 570M video BIOS from 8510p/w BIOS. Is it possible? Which tools should I use?

If you are still looking for the whitelist removal bios image, I have the floppy disk version you can boot from to update the bios. You need to create a bootable floppy with sp31277.exe and replace 68BAF.BIN on the floppy with the modified image. You can let me know if you are interested.
Hi all, I have got an old HP 8510w. A few weeks ago, my graphics card died (NVidia Quadro FX 570m). Now I was thinking about buying a better graphics card, especially because they are around the same price level and because I figured it would be a nice project. Now, I know that default no other graphics card than the NVidia Quadro FX 570m or the ATI Mobility FireGL V560 can be installed, but I was wondering if anyone knows if this is due to a whitelist in the bios, or if there is more to it. I have got compaq nc6320 laptop with black screen first time and keep on trying (turning on and off few times) brings the display. Can anyone have any idea what causing that to happen? I have windows 8.1 installed on it. The BIOS Version/Date Hewlett-Packard 68YDU Ver. F.0E, 21/02/2008. Other error I get, not all the time, 163 date and time not set. I changed the cmos battery but still get the same error. Could someone please help me with your expertise?

3TB Option ROM for HP xw8600 Workstation with 786F5 v1.46 BIOS Can anyone tell me if this is still the case? I have an HP xw8600 Workstation with the latest BIOS v1.46 for which I need to upgrade the SATA RAID Option ROM to be able to make it possible to use a 3TB drive. I found out that the Option ROM I need is Intel_RST_RAID-ROM_v10.5.0.1034, but I have not been able to open the BIOS file with any of the tools I have found on this site.
