I was hoping someone might be able to help. I had a Xerox Phaser 8560MFP crash (40GB harddrive enclosed). Repair was done and the drive replaced. I was able to keep the drive to get scans off it. The files are .TIF and I was able to move them off this drive onto my notebook. Now when I try to open these files I get the message that the file is corrupted or c it cant be viewed. I've searched for TIFF repair tools and havent really found anything that has worked. I've tried renaming a copy of the file to PDF and seeing if Adobe Pro could process it. No dice. Has anyone here had experience with fix or modifying TIF files? Any insight would be appreciated.
