I think it's just English that does not work.

did a file compare, those links are still build 758

 

what files? & post the checksums

If you look at Setup.ini you will see ProductVersion=14.2.760.0000

 

Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.2.0.All_Clients_EN.zip (note . in filename) gets a file not found error
Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.2.0_All_Clients_EN.zip (note _ in filename) gets build 758, not 760

So not sure how to get 760. Maybe they pulled it?

I just read some earlier posts in this thread, complaining about not being able to whitelist/exclude files in the unmanaged SEP

 

ahh......yes.
None I have experienced but maybe some other members like to chime in

 

I use this on both of my windows 7 machines and I whitelist 3 files and 4 folders without any problems.

 

Just Install "Symantec Endpoint Protection v14.2.758.0000"

and download the Patch updates "Sep_To_760_EN.zip" or "Sep64_To_760_EN.zip" > from

https:// support.symantec.com/ en_US/ article.INFO5089.html

inside zip > "Sep_758To760_clientDAXMSI.exe" or "Sep64_758To760_clientDAXMSI.exe"

voila > updated "v14.2.758.0000" to "v14.2.760.000"
