how to use it?just exit the antivirus and run "KIS14 TrialReset.zip"" ? i tried it,it said that the anti virus should lunch now but it doesnt..when i open it manualy it still shows 'X days leftt' (not 30) edit: im using the pure 3.0 version edit2: just noticed im using KIS and not the pure registry files T.T anyways when i try to open the registry file it says that not all the files was able to import because the system uses it / i dont have the permission (i did run it as administrator). what to do? edit3: read the comments, was recommended to do so in safe mode..did it,it said the registry was imported well but still shows 26 days left?
It didn't work for me either - Win7 x64 and KIS 2013 But I found Kaspersky Reset Trial 2.2.0.17 that worked....back to 30 Days! Just a little hint Spoiler Name: KRT_2.2.0.17.exe Size: 1.35 MB CRC32: 7444A99F MD5: A5A88949C747C30777CD49E58694D340 SHA-1: 46EEF171D6EE9A0E9CE29A45787B1F2FBD9F12D1
Hi Everybody! I'm pleased to inform that I had a chance to test this TR on KIS'14 [14.0.0.4651(d)] on WinXP SP3 x86 and it worked like a charm in just one click. Thanks a lot you guys. !!! KEEP SHARING USEFUL INFORMATION !!!
I was having issues getting this to work with Win 7 x64. I ran the TrialReset(exe) and imported the .reg file and ran the TrialReset cmd file but KIS was still looking for a key. It was only when I deleted the existing key that an option to Activate the Trial Version became available.
pure 3 x64 reset on win 7 is not working for me as well, I guess I'll just uninstall and then switch to KIS or KAV.
pure 3 work fine for windows 8.1 we have 30 day trial ,but after some hour the pure show me that my licence expire so i dont know where is the prob ,so i have to swich to KIS kIS work like a charme
I'm running Windows 8.1 and using KIS 2014 that had expired previously. Ran the KTR and it worked; now I'm just updating databases to see if it will remain with 30 days remaining.
KIS Trial Reset Worked, Updating my KIS. Thanks for the Great help. I know a same way to activate ESET Smart Security or NOD32, Thinking of Posting it on MDL.
I found it too and it works(Kaspersky Reset Trial 2.2.0.17) I must to search because my trial rest (2.1) from this page doesn't show option to activate test version(after reset by KTR 2.1) maybe this is because I installed recently polish version
On the final consumer product KIS 2015 this does not work. When I reset using the script, it does not give me 30 days after hitting activate trial period. It gives me the 28 days I had from earlier. Kaspersky has fixed this hack for 2015 final? The activation date changes in KIS 2015 but the expiration date does not change - kasperskylab fixed exploit? ok, i'll download this version and re-snapshot the registry again to see if they are using different registry locations. EDIT: nothing new, they're using the same registry keys, here is a sample of the reg keys that are modified/added after activation: Spoiler Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SPC\Certificates\3B1BDF2FB40C4AF9B3F45B4586FA81EB1B686F2A\ (modified) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\AVP15.0.0\Data\ /v ActiveLicenseLastAutoUpdate (modified) /v FailUninstallStat (modified) /v IPMContentIsUpToDate (modified) /v SuccessUninstallStat (modified) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\AVP15.0.0\Data\LicCache\ /v kis (added) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\AVP15.0.0\OlaFormScheduler\ /v enabled (modified) /v firstTimestamp (modified) /v rebootCountWhenFirstShown (modified) /v skipFirstDays (modified) /v skipFirstReboots (modified) /v unique_id (modified) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\LicStrg\ /v kis (added)
