The tool you link at does the same as daz loader but works on UEFI/GPT installs, the same level of "piracy". I don't know if it is programmed the same as DAZ Loader, to recognize an existing valid slic so it only applies the correct cert + oem;slp key and skips installing the bootloader, then it hardly can be considered piracy at all.
Yes, If you have valid SLIC 2.1 inside your BIOS/UEFI, DAZ Loader restores de facto original license. It is the best possible approach and the least invasive.
