Dude I have been testing Boot Up tips for several months, and the improvements are temporally and the users seems to believe the improvements are huge since this is like a placebo, but in reality those tips does nothing at all, remember not all PC are use equally that depends on apps installed, services need by the user and system, configuration, etc. or did you spend several hours or maybe months testing result and benchmark on your PC to say ir really works I think no, nobody has. sometimes works and other times not. and some tips has been tested FOR REAL IT, WINDOWS SYSTEM AND PERFORMANCE PROFESSIONALS OVER THE YEARS and some of them do not even apply to Windows 7. Say all this, I no mean this post its not useful, every user have the right to test and try every tip out there, but having in mind that maybe it will not work or the risks it takes, don't take it as a insult or take it personal, my best wishes to you ML.

Thanks alot for this in-depth analysis of my tweaks dude. Unlike someone stated before that tweaks don't help. they DO help. Some tweaks may not have a direct effect on boot time like disable NTFS encryption and Disable NTFS last accessed time stamp but they do help by improving file access times or at least the OS responds much faster. Click on "Drive Properties" and then SMARTPlacement on left. At right..there are a choices of a few setting on the scroll down. By default, it is set to Smartplacement-Classic.
