A) To backup save Preinstall Win10 OEM License stuff Certs/ Keys etc from HDD? Failed Windows boot? - I remember there was a way to back / save and restore original as is. Forgot which method and how. - I can boot from various Win PE's like Sergei and Gandalf etc. from my iodd VE, So on ISO or other Tools can be put on drive. Also the Win RE & CMD on HDD seems to be working (but so far failed to fix these issues). https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ns-errors-wdf01000-sys-error-0xc0000242.84994 Once the above is backed up.. B) I am considering back up the HDD to WIM or VHD and trying booting on fresh SSD as the HDD had some CHKDSK issues. C) Wondering if I can try to boot a VHD directly of USB SSD? Forgot all this but will have to refresh.
MSDM activation doesn't use certs like win 7 did, msdm contains the key bound to the hardware. The key will always be available inside the bios.
Yes. I recall that. So, is there anything worthwhile on the HDD within the OS in terms of PRE-INSTALLED Original Files that could should be saved? Also, Should I ask or is there a place in MDL or outside where I can ask/ seek out original Fresh Preinstall, System Restore CDs for Dell / HP - for say generation of Workstations?
No need to save anything, any OEMRET windows consumer ISO will be able to read the MSDM bioskey and auto-select the correct SKU and activate it. You can ask and when someone can offer the original ISO they can link to it (although who would be able to verify its originality?).
Thanks. Got it. Will have to ask for it - any specific sub forum or thread to do so? Also if I dont get the HP CD & USe the MS ISOs - Ideas on this front - GUI Tools like WinNTSetup to customize and create Unanswer Win 10 Setups? | My Digital Life Forums
I use MRP for presettings during installation, i mostly use some cosmetic settings and my own uptodate ISOs.
