If you knew all the commands its fine but the guide up here will ruin your mak key if you follow it.. there are some steps missing that this program does infact do. and data.dat isn't needed it is called token restore because the fact that it does only backup tokens.dat and your product key instead of the other stuff in the folder... this is tested with a MAK key and several retail keys from winunleaked... me and mr caoun have been working on this one for months now. he said it was good to go so there you have it but if you cant follow simple instructions or know what you are doing then don't do it an just make a partition image of your drive for your backup... BTW I have a KMS activatioins backed up and it hasn't given me or canouna any problems at all
As I said nothing personal against you nor your program and I totally respect it. Me I'm just a manual type of guy + I like to learn things by doing them on my own. EDIT: I paid my respect by Thanking you since bottom line I like the idea.
Seems the activations guide thingy isnt working ... all i got to say it make sure the machine is in the same state it was when you restore... i.e. : make sure all drivers are installed and updated then try... it does what office 2010 does cant update\change hardware or it will ask to activate
I may update this very soon just getting past the new code with my group of tester should be here in a day or so... new version is tested and working on my dev machine which is windows 8 pro and a msdn retail key I have been switching between a KMS activated tokens.dat and my legit key's tokens.dat all working proven offline activation and all
I usually have a get status functions to return my version of what the error means and hard code it into the program. just like we did in with O7A by mr hotcarl and nononsence... send the error code and get some string lol OFFTOPIC: for some reason im being treated like im new again and its annoying when ive been doing this stuff for years and the new guys don't want to list to what is said
Restore is not working with windows 8 MAK key. Just tested, now im not activated any more....... Edit: Luckily, I had made a backup of "store" that i restore manualy.
very odd my testers about 5 of them have many different configs and all have come back ok... what release did you use? wzt or msdn iso or whatever
I Used the sv_windows_8_x64_dvd_915422 MSDN. Obvious It is a change that the problem was from my part, not from your program
oh ok lol ive been trying to help out the people on other forums saying it worked but it doesn't pick out the installed key lol... oh well it wasn't supposed to
