    It's OK for me to moved (NOT copied) C:\Windows\System32\spp\store folder to anywhere, and then edited the following registry correspondingly. (2.0 folder removed on purpose for confirmation)

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform]
    "TokenStore"="D:\\store"
    "CacheStore"="D:\\store\\cache"

    Sorry, but I am not smart enough to answer your question.

    May this finding be useful hopefully.

    I've found previously that just deleting the tokens (not that other weird 2 files people messed with to glitch W7 reset), results in the stuff just being regenerated most of the time without loss of activation, but I wouldn't chance it on a legit activation without risk.

    EDIT: OK you moved them without deleting?
