?

Should I use powershell in this script to add more features? Vista will no longer be supported.

    It seems the EFI partition may be on a different disk :confused:

    Anyhow, after selecting disk and partition, try assign letter=x, or any unused letter, then have a look what’s in there

    Thx for your help CaptainKirk1966. I assigned H to the EFI partition opened it and no windSLIC folder. So the SLIC was not added. I hope this helps others trying to use this new forked EzWindSLIC activator.

    Ace2 the answer is no. The 2.1 SLIC must be removed before attempting to activate dell 2.7 with new forked activator. At least that's my understanding.

    I seem to have a very early version of this that may work better on Vista, if you want to try it. This was before Powershell was required.

    @CommandrKeen

    Given the fact that you tried to use EzWindSLIC, is Vista installed in UEFI fashion? If so, Daz's loader won't work, as it requires a legacy BIOS/MBR installation.

    Considering the UEFI compatibility factor of Vista, a SLIC modded BIOS is a far better solution in your case.

    Fast because I recently created that 7 Enterprise install to test a native vhd boot, and still had it laying around.

    But a working 7 Enterprise oem:slp key? You may have a better chance finding the Holy Grail.

    It’s a minor fork of the existing 3.62 version, adding slic 2.7 for Server 2025, and works or doesn’t work about the same as it did before the fork. Not foolproof for sure on real hardware.

    Oh no, I was using MBR I just wasn't thinking of using Daz at first.

    Just wanted to install Vista on this HP Elitebook with the Extended Kernel and it's all good now

    @pm67310 I've just tried it on a modern notebook and have the same result as:
    The EFI\WindSlic folder exists in disk 0, partition 1 (mounted as S: to view contents). Seems to be listed in the BCD as well:
