Should I use powershell in this script to add more features? Vista will no longer be supported.

    I presume there is also a "slic.bin" and "key.txt" file in that EFI\Windslic folder. If so, it would seem that EzWindSlic, which is really just an installer, has done it's job. It might be WindSlic itself is not capable of injecting the slic at boot time. WindSlic is 13+ years old at this point, and perhaps you should consider yourself lucky when it does work on modern hardware.

    Using this tool to install a SLIC doesn't change the activation status of the Windows 7 Ultimate installation on my MSI B550-A PRO-based desktop. What, if anything, can I do to fix that?

    Switch to windows 7 enterprise = similar but kms activation supported

    I hadn't a way to change editions, and was about to give up and reïnstall when I quite literally stumbled upon the solution: boot Windows using WindSLIC.efi.
