    After installation, can I stop and delete that MS Office Click-to-run (SxS) service this is installed and running all the time ??

    Because of Microsoft have added a new branch for Current Channel, Office Tool Plus can not get the correct version of Office now.

    Can you provide more information please

    The new branch for Current Channel named Gallatin. But actually I don't know what it is, it only applied to some uses based on tenant id. Also, I don't know what the tenant id is. :(

    I check it again and I found something:

    The new branch is based on normal branch of Current Channel. Now the version of Current Channel is 16.0.15330.20246.
    The version of branch Gallatin is 16.0.15225.20288.

    It means that if someone is meet the requirement of tenant id, their Office will rollback to 16.0.15225.20288.

    Do you have any ideas about it?

    I understand it is necessary for the installation, but is it still necessary after installation of Office is complete?? Thank you!

    Yes

    you can set it to manual and stop it, if you don't use Office apps frequently
