If i use setup.exe /download configuration.xml I can download and can see the Office folder with about 3.3gb content. But then i run the command below without network connected setup.exe /configure configuration.xml It will fail with error about check the internet connection. Doesnt seems to be a truly offline install. I used the odt from MS that was released last week, and also the older version to no avail.
No error, it will just stuck at the 'please wait while we are downloading' for a long time. The progress bar will move a bit to about 20%, then not moving anymore. I waited for 2 hours. But as soon as i connect the pc to the internet, it then slowly able to progress and done in 15 mins.
Maybe check the logs is the better way to do. The C2R log is located in C:\Windows\Temp, named like {MachineName}-{yyyyMMdd}-{hhmmss}.log, such as DESKTOP-XXXXX-20251030-1902.log.
You can still use Office Tool Plus on Windows 8.1. However, if you meet any issues about OS, I can't help you anymore.
Correct, supported != running. Many tools run on OS they were not made for (due to backwards compatibility and general platform similarities), but you are on your own. Commercial programs usually hard-block for legal reasons, if they cannot provide you with your full mandatory customer rights anymore.
have you changed path in xml to the folder where its downloaded?´ if thats a thing otherwise it will obviously try to download
