MyVisualStudio = formerly known as MSDN (OEMRET and VL (Client)) VolumeLicensingServiceCenter = VLSC (VL)
Hi! When I try to download the CMD version, I only get the old version v0.22.01. Please update link to the new version.
Something is interferring with CURL when trying to download the SVF. Check neither AV or Firewall are intrerferring.
Thanks for the awesome app I also can't download the sfv in the new version. Tried both the command and gui version, and both new vlsc iso's (but didn't try any older iso's) I don't get the curl error, it just seems to never start the sfv download, and eventually gives up. I had the source iso's downloaded already, but if they weren't there, they download correctly. This is on Windows 7 btw, with upgraded powershell. The new little beep sound when you switch to the window scared me, btw! Edit: I noticed that in the sfv thread, all the other languages are stored in normal sfv files, but en-us is stored in an exe file. Since I'm using en-us, maybe this is the problem? I already patched the iso manually for myself, but I thought you should know what I found out.
@Enthousiast can you please check the Stack share, it fails to download the new VLSC SVF it seems . Can reproduce the behavior @Crimmers mentions.
I downloaded the SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_Ent_Edu_N_10_1809_64-bit_English_MLF_X21-96501.svf manually and svf2iso does not create the target ISO either. Tried in MVS2ISO and SVF2ISO tabs.
hey can i ask why the download speed is very slow for me to dl iso/svf using the tool? (both gui and cmd) i have 100MB connection that should get around 9mbps but getting 1.0-1.5 tops
To create the target you need the correct EVAL source and the SVF. In either tool enter the full name of the SVF (without the extension), then start the process. In case it fails it's mostly due to wrong Source. Can't do anything here, no clue what max speed Stack offers, only @Enthousiast knows.
I had previously downloaded the correct eval iso (1809_2_VLSC, Business, x64, Standard, en-us) using svf2iso and it was in the same folder as the .svf fie. In the meantime, I tried using the EVAL_2_SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_Ent_Edu_N_10_1809_64-bit_English_MLF_X21-96501.exe by @Enthousiast, and the process finished successfully.
THANK YOU!! <3 (I appear to be a little on the inept spectrum of my abilities however: I still can't get it to work with the .cmd variant... still fails to download the en-us 1809.2 x64 business iso... but I'm sure at some point I'll figure it out.
Same problem. Both cmd and gui versions still fail to download the en-us 1809_2 vlsc x64 business iso.
It's not the tool, unfortunately @Enthousiast missed to upload the 1809_2 English x64 VLSC SVF. Is hopefully solved soon .
