Hi, I wonder if I can squeeze a couple of novice questions, I am on LTSB 2016 x64 and can't wait to move on to the 19h1 release branch LTSC 2019 with the new FLS limit increase. Will this '19h1 release' be on supported versions list you provided? The second question I have is related to SVF.ISO.CONVERTER-master. I wanted to see how it works, so: I started the svf.iso.converter.aio the 'command .exe' comes on as soon as I type "M", the window disappears and nothing happens... Thank you
There will be no 19h1 LTSC. Latest official is LTSC 2019 based on 1809. Next one is expected in 3 years. Make sure you use the tool from short path with no spaces and/or weird characters. Also create an exclusion in your Antivirus (or disable).
Oh my! Does that mean we have to wait for three years to get FLS fix? "Make sure you use the tool from the short path " What do you mean by short path?
For LTSC, the next one is three years away. Unless they fix it another way, you're stuck. Short path refers to the one you keep the tool in. If it's too long, it will malfunction (Windows API has a limit of ~260 characters).
Yes but you will only get security updates for the LTSC branch, while the "new FLS limit increase" sounds like something M$ will think of as a new feature.
Hi, I got en_windows_10_business_editions_version_1809_updated_dec_2018_x64_dvd_f03937a3 with SVF ISO Converter and when I want to create bootable USB flash drive with Rufus, it warns me that I need to disable Secure Boot. Is there any other way to create bootable USB and use it without disabling Secure Boot? Thanks.
Thanks! So if I get it correctly, we put the source iso inside the "Source_ISO" folder and run the cmd, wait for it to complete the process, when done it asks us to copy the entire ISO folder that it created earlier the process to the formatted Fat32 USB flash drive, then cleans that ISO folder. Then, we will be able to boot from that USB drive to install GPT UEFI Windows, right?
Does this tool not have the latest version of LTSC 2019? All I see is [8] START LTSC 2019 PROCESS [17763.1] Where can I find and download the updates after this version, also will NTlitework for integrating updates or should I use Abbodies tool?
Sweet! does this mean the 17763.107 ISO is already updated to the latest version, or is the VLSC section just the updates that I can download to integrate? Thanks!
No, 17763.107 is old, it's the re-release of 1809, back in 2018. The most current public build is 17763.316 (by CU) and the current Insider Preview Release Preview CU will bump the build to 17763.346. But for LTSC, 17763.107 is the most current officially released iso.
Gotcha, that clears things up for me. Thanks a bunch man! So I can just update through windows update.
