    does this have anything to do with the exe problem with the optiplex 755 bios?

    ok thanks... you mind shedding light to why that is occurring when I try to mod the O755 bios?

    But that still doesn't work for me.
    SLIC Toolkit 3.2 still can't find SLIC

    I went ahead and installed the certificate anyway (I thought maybe SLIC Toolkit could be wrong) and a product key against it, but activation fails.

    Can see the SLP string MSI-PC though :biggrin:

    Great thing is, I can try all day long with M-Flash, without worrying about bricking the board!
    Any ideas what to try next?

    Flash from DOS with flash utility from MSI (included to the pack with original bios).

    Is it that M-Flash doesn't load the SLIC tables from the BIOS file if I boot that way?
    That would make sense, I suppose. It would be trivial to use modded BIOSes otherwise :rolleyes:

    Ah well, will have to take the plunge I suppose. Will let you know if it works.
    I'm being a bit lazy here :p but does anyone know the recovery procedure for these types of BIOSes?
