It only my assumption. I shall check up in the near future. Probably MAC-address it will be destroyed. Also it is possible, that MAK-address will not change. To check up it is possible only at presence of a b-tester for PADDINGs accordingly 1D2...
Not only MAC address will be losted , all information of original machine will also be losted ,Including the original machine SN PN, UUID ,etc.... If you believe something like this , then so do it, I have nothing to say,After all, this tool is written by you Mine
OK. I'll hold fire until there's a test. If I was to be a normal user and download an EFI update from ASUS and flash it as per their instructions.... then wouldn't the NVRAM area be FFh as well then?? Is it because we are using non-standard tools to flash that the NVRAM area is not preserved (ie. AFLASH2 with /ALL switch)?? Andy
If only use aflash2 and don't add parameters :/all ,so can't flash NVRAM area , If literally modified and flash the wrong NVRAM area(including sn ,pn ,uuid ,mac address, etc info...), it is possible to will the influence the machine after-sales and warranty.. Mine
