SLP 1.0 string has not been added to bios mod the Hitachi OEMBIOS.CAT you probably have an Hitachi hard drive.
I see the issue with losing SLI when modding the asus uefi bios seems to have been fixed in current versions. Any special settings need to be set or just go with defaults?
I've done some foxconn boards with no issue. Today I added the ACER Slic 2.1 into the H67M-S bios A48F1P03.bin. Slicdump OK, Windows activated Ok...
This is probably a dumb question to ask, but anyway here goes (my curiosity finally got the better of me)! I checked & found that one needs a RW Everything report if one wants to mod an Asus (AMI Insyde) EFI BIOS using this tool. My question is: Is it necessary to create a RW Everything report (of the unmodded original BIOS) on the same machine for which the modded BIOS is planned to be used? If yes, does it mean that you cannot use this tool to correctly mod an AMI Insyde EFI BIOS if you don't have an AMI Insyde EFI BIOS on your system? The reason why this question occurred to me is because I could not understand how one member could have tens (or possibly even hundreds) of different motherboards to correctly solve BIOS mod requests posted in this forum. Thank in advance.
RW should always be on the SAME machine with the SAME version EFI (unmodded) However, the tool is pretty good without an RW for EFI. Andy
