The download page only mentions 1.93. Where can 1.94 be downloaded?

Hey it's probably not bios related. I've had issues with sli & found different drivers make the difference. I downgraded from 290.53 back to 285.62 & it worked.
Control panel reports both cards ok & enabled but does not show sli as an option.
On another system I couldn't get it to work with 2x GTX560's. In the end I tried 2x GTX550's & that worked.
Putting back the 560's the option was now available & worked! Go figure!!

Is there a way to push latest Intel ICH10R compatible ROM inside Asus P8Z68-V Pro bios?

Even a guide could be enough. Thanks ;)

    Hi :)

Like i said at 6:16AM (about error)

i'm just trying to modify an another acer bios from aspire one Z5G AOA150.

The difference is : this one is the original, not modded.

I used the same tools = Same Error. "Unable to add SLIC code".

Uh !? some problems with Phoenixtools 1.95 ??

Unfortunatly, i didn't kept the older version...... Arghhhhh.......

    Re :)

Using the version 1.93 : Ok fort he Aspire One ZG5 AOA150. "Unable to add SLIC code" with 1.94 & 1.95.

Trying with the 1.90,1.91,1.92,1.93,1.94,1.95 : "Unable to add SLIC code" for the 7720G Bios BlackEdition.

i see the Phoenixtool can't choose automatically the Manufacturer Option with the 7720G Bios,i put it myself.
But he found each time the SLIC Code.

    What's the problem ?

    Regards, Ray.

PS : Finally Solving my problem with 7720G bios with "Dynamic" option enabled and "YES" to the question "SLIC table are not complete"

    Source code?

Hi! Is the source code for this tool available somewhere (git/SVN/*.zip)? It is a bit troublesome for me to run this tool since I'm a Linux user.

Secondly, releasing the source code might get other enthusiasts to contribute enhancements.

    Thanks! :)

    Hi

No, its not. I don't have the time to co-ordinate a community effort. Nor do I want to risk problems being introduced. When I no longer have the time to maintain it, then i'll happily release it.
Its VB.NET 2010, not sure that's too helpful for Linux.

    HDR Checksum not correct

A bit more info on my issue w/v1.93 and the Dell Optiplex 755 A17 BIOS file:

I should have mentioned that I have successfully used the tool to create 2 other modded BIOS's. Since my first post, I have downloaded several different versions of the Optiplex 755 BIOS (going back as far as A08) and none of the file checksums hash to 0xFFFFFFFF (computed using WinHex). I've since downloaded perhaps a dozen random Dell BIOS files and in all other cases, the file checksum is 0xFFFFFFFF for the .HDR file.

In this case, it appears Dell has changed the checksum calc for the Optiplex 755. Since others have reported successfully creating a modded O755 BIOS, I assume there is some trick (or Advanced option) to getting past the "HDR checksum not correct" error.

Am I missing something obvious ??

    Thanx for any replies...
