I have never managed to reproduce that.
I have a few guesses and generate a test build......

Could you please upload the modified Bios for the ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 V2.10 version?

Does it work with Dell or Asus certificate?

    DELL

It is important that you flash original unmodified bios FIRST (it updates a lot)!
Do only flash (both original and mod) as recommended by ASRock with bios built in InstantFlash (it updates a lot)!
Once updated to v2.10 you can NOT go back to v1.30!

If you do not follow the steps above your mobo WILL brick.

Link sent to you by PM.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I'm now at v1.30 Modbios (Asus) and will give it a try in the evening.
Yeah and I've heard that you can't go back to v1.30. And you have to install the new Intel driver (don't know which one) and you will get new entries in your device manager... further information to this issue would be great. Unfortunatelly I don't know what to install after the bios update...

The bios steps are clear now but should i activate it with dell cert or should I use the Asus one!?

    Thanks in advance

ok, thanks a lot mictlan. For the next time I stay with sandy bridge.

But I've never installed any IME Drivers. My sys only runs with the inf-driver directly from Intel. I don't see any reason why I should install the IME drivers, do you?
For my understanding the IME drivers only remember when there is an update provided by Intel or when problems will occur isn't it?
So last question: Do you see an advantage installing the IME drivers?

The Intel Management Engine provides thermal management for Intel Desktop Boards. The Intel ME is the interface between the Intel Management Engine firmware and the host.
