found after some googling phoenixtool 1.36 and lo & behold, that one does the job perfectly! :hug2:
So there seems to be some bug in v2.10 o_O

And is there any repository out there with all previous versions of Phoenixtool ?

Sorry, I did not compare the result with the one made by the "New Module" method - I have used a simple script (with mmtool) to insert SLP module to the bios file.

    Hi

Thanks. Just checked - other than you add the two new modules in a different order (which doesnt matter) - the mods are the same :)

New module mod in v2.11 should do it. In v2.10 you had to manually select the FV with the MSOA module.

The difference being that the current SLPSUPPORT2.MOD is uncompressed but this preserves the DXE dependancy. Tick the new option in v2.11 - compress stored modules - and it will compressed the stored submodule and make it fit.

    New version 2.11
FIX: Bugs in split ID replacement code
FIX: For new module (ASUS) mods the inserted modules are placed automatically in the correct FV (with the MSOA module)

ADD: Option to compress stored submodules (can be used if the module method reports inserted SLPSupport module doesn't fit)

I have a Asus P8P67 Deluxe and it's an AMI Bios but the AMI Tool says it's not. The Phoenix tool is the only one that will actually mod the bios file but how does that work if it's not a Phoenix bios?

What settings did you use in the tool? I just flashed my bios with the Phoenix modded rom and I got after reboot, cannot read bios and took me back into the easy flash screen. Got nervous but I flashed it back with stock rom and all is well now. o_O

For ASUS you choose setting ' DYNAMIC ' , no RW-everything report required.
First flash unmodified new bios then flash modified slic bios.
