It's an EFI bios by AMI, so Phoenixtool was designed for this, AMITool is only for old school AMI bios mods.

When you say reflash the modded bios, you mean use the same Dynamic setting with the modded also?

Ok, tried it again with run the tool on the modded rom after the first run and all is well in the Land of Asus! Thanks, mictlan.

    Nah, I meant

    1. Download bios from ASUS, extract to whatever you use ( USB etc. )
    2. Flash original, unmodified bios, restart
    3. Modify bios with slic, copy to whatever you use ( USB etc. )
    4. Flash modified bios, restart

Oh, I actually flashed the stock rom and then when the new slic rom was generated, I modded it again! lol. It works so I guess I didn't do too bad!

First, download and use RW-everything to generate the report. But, for AMI UEFI, u may ignore.

Second, use the Andy's Tool to read the UEFI rom file. For ASrock, u will find a empty SLIC string and empty module.

Third, if there is empty SLIC string and empty module, u selects the the UEFI bios file and RW eveything report (u may ignore for your case) and the OEM SLIC and SLP by clicking the "DYNAMIC" method to mod the UEFI bios in the Andy's Tool.

Forth, the program will be running and will ask u to continue with imcomplete SLIC table. U should click "YES" to continue. The mod UEFI bios will be produced successfully. U can use the tool to read the output file to verify the OEM SLIC table.

Fifth, save the UEFI bios in the USB memory and click into the UEFI and flash UEFI with build-in flash tool. The flashing UEFI will take some time and may require the reboot to continue to flash the UEFI (if the UEFI bios version is newer for a few verison) After finishing the flashing, the computer will reboot.

Sixth, after boot into Windows, u should use the SLIC tool to read and u will the SLIC and SLP in the memory. Then u can import OEM Cert and OEM key to activate Windows 7.

But, Please note that the flashing / updating the UEFI is something risky that the flashing process must NOT be stopped. It may take 3 to 5 mins to update and may flash a few min and then reboot the computer to continue flashing (if the new version is a few number over the old version)
