    Hi ! tdepauli

First, download and use RW-everything to generate the report. But, for AMI UEFI, u may ignore.

Second, use the Andy's Tool to read the UEFI rom file. For Gigabyte, there is NO any empty SLIC string and NO empty module.

Third, if there is NO empty SLIC string and NO empty module, u selects the the UEFI bios file and RW eveything report (u may ignore for your case) and the OEM SLIC and SLP by clicking the "MODULE" method to mod the UEFI bios in the Andy's Tool. Manufacturer is "Other"

Forth, the program will be running and the mod UEFI bios will be produced successfully. U can use the tool to read the output file to verify the OEM SLIC table.

Fifth, save the UEFI bios in the USB memory and click into the UEFI and flash UEFI with build-in flash tool. The flashing UEFI will take some time and may require the reboot to continue to flash the UEFI (if the UEFI bios version is newer for a few verison) After finishing the flashing, the computer will reboot.

Sixth, after boot into Windows, u should use the SLIC tool to read and u will find the SLIC and SLP in the memory. Then u can import OEM Cert and OEM key to activate Windows 7.

But, Please note that the flashing / updating the UEFI is something risky that the flashing process must NOT be stopped. It may take 3 to 5 mins to update and may flash a few min and then reboot the computer to continue flashing (if the new version is a few number over the old version)

I know that 4 way modify bios msi
    1. reply slp suport then mod (The simplest)
    2. unlock slp suport (the most difficult)
    3. unlock 3 opition SLic with winhex ( same unlock with AMIBCP4.53)
    4. unlock 2 opition SLic with winhex ( same unlock with AMIBCP4.53)

I'm trying to mod an MSI Z77A-G45 bios v2.6.

I've added the MSI slic - the tool said it added ok. Flashed from a dos boot usb. On reboot the slic isn't seen in rweverything or Slic Toolkit.

I had no problems with my old MSI P55 board so I suspect it's my lack of knowledge over this (new to me) UEFI bios.

Reopening the bios in the tool it tell me that a Pubkey (x1) with the slic exists so it looks like its been aded ok but just not seen in Windows.

Any thoughts where I'm going wrong?

Whenever I've modded a bios I've always had much more success if the machine is already using the same bios I am wanting to mod before doing the RW Everything report, I've had some odd errors when I make the RW everything report off an older bios than what I am wanting to mod.
