Try uing the erompaq in the usbflash directory as that is the one that comes with it.

Where do you think it is wrong? :p
There does seem to be some sort of signature - search for $SIG.
    Investigating.

    acer aspire 6930G

I tried using the tool on my aspire 6930G using bios v3238. When modifing the windows exe the tool finds only the marker, and when modifing the dos exe the tool find the header and the pubkey only. In either files when using dynamic method there is a warring about incomplete slic table. I click continue and the tool completes succesfully.

why does the 2 files produce different results. and if use dynamic would i brick my board (I want to replace slic 2.0 by slic 2.1).

    Thanks for you help

    Links please.
Also, try extracting the exe with winrar or uniextract.

    Hi

Ive got a lenovo n200 laptop, ive downloaded the mod tool from the first page and used the lenovo slic and the rw i created from the current bios and it appeared to create the modded bios fine, however when ive checked the bios again before trying a win 7 install it still appeared to be a slic 2.0 bios, have i done something wrong and or was the slic file included with the mod tool not the correct one to use?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey andyp,

How about a version that doesn't require an RW report?

Does this mean the latest version modded the bios successfully and flashed OK?
