    Thanks Andy. I switched everything I'd disabled back on in BIOS and it made no difference to the ACPI tables. I have a few other Latitude D505s so will check the ACPI tables on those and report back

    Thanks andyp a lot,I have moded bios successfully with the tool 216.But something is puzzled. I have moded the bios with tool 214 and Slic2.1 before and updated bios with it.It was not succeeded. Now,I used tool 216 with Slic 2.2.After updating bios,windows was activated but the Slic-toolkit showed the Slic is 2.1,not 2.2.It is a joke?

    Does slic-toolkit definitely recognise 2.2 slics??

    Tushen - could you links to the BIOS and a screenshot of the SLIC-Toolkit report. The tool just inserts the SLIC file you ask it to, so I don't quite understand.

    Hallo, I am experiencing Problems with the new Dell BIOS exe files with checksum test. I try to integrate SLIC 2.2 in my Precision M6300 A15, M4300 A17 and M2300 A11 BIOSes. I use write hdr file and patching the hdr file with Phoenix SLIC Tool works. But I don't get a gz file and I can't Flash the HDR File.

    Can You help me, please?
