I have a Dell Latitude 10 Tablet which will not activate with KMS after Dell changed the mobo. We have a bunch of identical tablets that activate fine. I tried using the PhoenixTool, but I get an error 53, could not find hdr file. For the original bios, I'm using a file I downloaded from Dell. I'm a newb at this, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Quick question -
Dealing with an ASUS laptop S500CA that is built for and comes with Windows 8 x64.

Want to down grade it to Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

First, not sure what the BIOS is. Not SLIC 2.1 but maybe the new 2.2 or 3 or 4?

Anyway, I wanted to try this method mentioned on page one -
    EFI (ASUS)
    - NVRAM – The NVRAM is modified to contain SLIC data. This method requires a dumped BIOS (ie. It is individual to the computer). It is also persistent and survives subsequent flashes.

How exactly do I "dump" my BIOS? Is that an RW-Everything report or something else? Please provide step by step or URL to guide me if not RW report. Also, if DUMP is not RW Report, will I still need an RW Report?

    @Andy

if I use NewModule method or using MMTool to mod my bios
ezflash or bupdater will pass the security verification and can be flashed
but if I patch other module it can't flash "security verification error"

How phoenixtool can handle secure flash signature
how can be used to patch other modules and pass to security verification

    tqhoang,

I currently also have a M6300, I have tried the HDR recovery method to flash. Can you use a usb flash drive or does it have to be a usb floppy drive? could you post your Modded HDR file also?

    Thanks in advance!

I have a SLIC 2.2 applied via the New module method on an X79 Deluxe.

How can I go about getting it to replace the permanent SLIC with a new one (specifically, a v2.3 SLIC)

Hi, would you be so kind and post the modified A15 file you used to flash your m6300 to run a15 with slic 2.1?
    I have m6300 with slic 2.1 and a13.
BTW., when you flashed with your mod a15, was the default bios signature setting on or off? Thanks
