About DELL BIOS, when using the tool to open BIOS exe file, it says that the BIOS has M08 Marker, but in the tool sub-folder, I cannot found M08 MARKER FILE, thus can I use M09 instead of ????
    Many thanks.

Works great, I like the fact that the tool tells you if the bios file has SLIC 2.0 OR 2.1 already inserted

Hi Andy, also this is a great tool. But I have also here the same request, like with ami tool and dsdt.
Can you add the possibility to stop, momentarily, the tool for insert personal modded dsdt. (Remember? mac-like: hpet, rtc, etcetc like ami tool)
Especially if possible, obviously, a second option to allow the insert our mod dsdt, BUT WITHOUT THE NEED OF INSERT THE SLIC TABLE. You think to the laptop with already vista or seven but for which the osx installation is problematic ;)

Reallly thanks if you can make this real ;)
    (sorry for my english)

Ps Naturally the second option if can available also for award tool and especially ami tool. I love your tools, top top job ;)

Hmm, tested the tool on an ASUS K52JR. It's an EFI/Inside BIOS. But I was unable to modify it. The tool says it has modified corectly the bios file, but after flashing, Windows 7 still ask for activation. The RW files of the original and modified BIOS looks exactly the same...

Sorry, but is no longer possible :(
It was not mine, just buy it to make a gift for an aniversay wich was today.
So I've deleted the files from it. Didn't made a back-up for me.
    Perhaps with first occasion....

The tool doesn't do it. Yen did explain it to me once, I think it is diffcult to automate.

You can do the first - pause for manual DSDT modification - select allow user to modify DSDT in the DSDT options from Advanced options - in all 3 tools.

Currently you have to do a SLIC. I will look, but the code is all geared up to SLIC (that's the purpose after all!), it might not be that easy.

Hello everyone, I am new and I'm very noob in this area ... I wanted to know in plain English if I could unlock the bios of my Asus X64JQ .... With this change you can 'unlock the bios? Hello and thanks for the help!

What do you mean by 'unlock'?

If you mean add/replace SLIC then post a request in the request thread.

    New version 1.20

Can mod most Dell BIOSes (including those with no existing SLIC)

    Enjoy!
