    there seems to be quite a few brick when modding bios for Samsung. any idea on how to safely mod it?
    especially with incomplete SLIC table (1/2 of the table are filled with 000000) ?

    I named it to RSDT.rw. It's actually the same as complete AcpiTbls.rw

    Do I even need to modify mine?

    I got a message from PhoenixTool that said:
    Do I even need to mod mine if it says "2.1"?

    This Compaq CQ50-139WM originally came w/ Windows Vista. If I don't need to mod the BIOS, I guess I'll need to figure out what the next step is.

    Sorry, didn't get to post my mod intime, xpirat beat me to it but obviously his worked too, I can't explain why your mod didn't.

    Do you have a SLIC already??
    If not then you will need an SSV2 mod.
    Post a RW report

    Brilliant !!!!! Although I haven't a machine where SLIC replacement is possible, it's good to see how easy it is. :cool::cool:
