I was using BUPDATER v1.22 for my successful ssv2 mods also. I didn't check the memory settings and so on, just verified the flash worked. Is the modded bios you're using the same revision as the original bios for these cases? maybe its a bug in the new bios?
At least in my case I'm using the same version of the modded and non-modded BIOS and I cleared the CMOS after each flash. The settings are correct in the menu, they save properly as they are there even if you reboot but they just don't apply to the running system.
yeah, it is the same bios revision. well, there is only one bios out there for my board. anyway, flashed back to original as the voltage without manual control at 4.5ghz went over the roof.

What about crashfree bios3? the deluxe model has it. it says it is used to recover from bad flash. anyone?
I replaced the motherboard and windows system work without any software change needed. Is it true that slp is only needed for windows installation, what about HP PC Recovery? oembiostest shows four different crc values that can be used. Is it important which one? There is two different functions of the HP PC Recovery to choose from one of them formats the drives and reinstalls the software, brings the computer to original start of software. I am using windows xp on a pavilion model a605x. I am looking for a good Phoenix bios tool that will show more.
Bring back to shop. They look at it and test it and tell that give it to asus. I'm scary if they will see what something wrong with bios and tell to shop. And if they say that it;s my fail and i need pay money for replace it'll very bad(
