Interesting, if it fail for you, please don't use AntiWPA addon. Hopefully we can reproduce winlogon patch to disable it completely.
Only integrating the same updates with nlite, generate a unattended iso and run in Vmware Workstation, no problem...activated too!!
This tool support only 32bit systems. Do you want to use x64 because you want use more that 4GB RAM? Upcoming v1.5 have implemented automated WinXPPAE patcher by daniel_k. If is detected during setup more than 4000MB RAM, then HALs and kernels are patched on the fly before first system boot and HALs selection process.
From v1.5 will be available additional "Silent software pack example" for download. I created pack than include some apps and settings for then as an example for all user. Including Serpent, Nightly and Palemoon SFX packs with proper shortcuts creation. From v1.5 is processed repository folder for all *XP*.iso and everything is prescripted to generate install.wim with multiple editions - Starter, Home, HomeN, Professional, ProfessionalVL, Media Center, Tablet PC. Right now I'm testing building multi-language creating. Now can be multiple languages UpdatePacks present in Updates folder and correct one are integrated. Image naming is also created dynamically. So should be unlimited, will see if it works as expected. Server 2003 is still unsupported, but can be added in future. Client editions must be done first.
suggestions for 1.5: remove the netfx addon. it should really only be installed by tabletpc and media center as the addon might screw up tabletpc (at least for usp4 as i grow ever more hateful of onepiece's update pack) also in the chaos that is called my hard drive, i am not even sure anymore whether i uploaded a version extracted from a bootleg windows or one that i actually made myself
Sadly some drivers are not cooperative with the extra RAM enabled... so it might not be a good idea to unconditionally enable this. Also, it appears only up to 64GB of RAM works. More than 64GB on XP would lead to a system reset during boot phase with no BSOD or error messages, so it's advised to set a limit to that for the time being...
Hi George King, I ran the process with version 1.4 using WinXP_Pro_VL. Apparently there were no errors. See attached log. I tried to install WinXP_AIO_WIM.iso created in VirtualBox, but on the first reboot I get this message: "Press a key to start from the CD or DVD ... Operating system not found. Try to disconnect drives that are not contain operating system. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I did the reading and did not find how to solve it.
Thats weird, I never see this. Are you sure you sucessfully proceed first part of setup before reboot?
Sorry for my failure: the image of windows 7 I was using was corrupted ... I redid the process again and now everything went smoothly, without errors! Thank you very much for your work!
wow, or friend you are great impressive update go I had created a windows xp using your codes of the previous version although I had to make adjustments and use almost all manual but I am glad that you have solved the boot bug since testing on other computers with the xpesd v1.4 version the problem is that on some computers there is an error of "grub or linux" saying that the boot or partition is missing but hey thanks for this great advance and for continuing to give life to Windows XP I have finally created an iso updated to 2021 with updates and working and thanks to you we have boot 7 and now boot 8 and 10 ... you are a great friend Thanks for this contribution
I had a trouble with two of the onepiece patches not installing. Exists in the updatepack.Ini. It's not in last session.ini.
In all files you posted are same lines in [Hotfixes] section. So what you mean? I don't see any problem
