Good news, I think I have finally fixed RES patches for installer for all 38 languages (Yes, now supports any language that is in ADK 10 19041). Maybe time for another huge test? @user469 Would you like to try testing it-IT ISO?
So I followed this guide, but I can't seem to load this onto the Dell Optiplex 3070 as it doesn't see the internal drives and I was wondering what I should do for this? Should I just download the .exe's from dells website in terms of drivers.
Start checking how the SATA ports are set in the bios, avoid any RAID/RST settings and set it to AHCI and see what happens. If even AHCI doesn't work try IDE / Legacy
@George King I found a possible fix! Actually, on real hardware, XP x64 from XP2ESD (using FlashBootPro bootmgfw.efi) may boot from UEFI Class 3 if you also set the XP partition and GUI of the XP partition on the MountedDevices key. Now there are device manager entries of XP that match the hardware IDs of my real hardware. EDIT: Actually, it's stuck at the device enumeration stage with ntbtlog.txt working, no keyboard activity, and no screen activity, but compared to last time this is progress! Dump files are partially created as tmp files if BSODs are present, it is set to restart automatically with Debugger enabled despite having only one laptop.
I posted the reply to you in the topic I created about this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...n-computers-without-bsods.86331/#post-1795980
Hi, I decided to try XP2ESD again but was met with an unfortunate issue: The setup cannot find my ESD file. My image works perfectly fine in a VM. I am using a Windows 10 LTSC 2021 ISO which of course works perfectly on my modern system, USB peripherals work as well, but it can't find the file. The full error is as follows: Title: Powerful Windows Setup Launcher Setup can't detect ESD / WIM / SWM file in sources folder or setup media This can be caused by: 1) ESD / WIM / SWM file doesn't exist in sources folder 2) Setup doesn't contain proper MassStorage / USB drivers Setup can't be started, press OK to reboot I have tried using both USB 2.0 ports and 3.0 ports from both the CPU and PCH to no avail, I cannot Shift + F10 either to see what's wrong, my only option is to click OK which reboots my system. My USB drive was made using Rufus: MBR, NTFS. My system specs are: Ryzen 3 3100, Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2, 16GB RAM 3200MHz, AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT. There were no errors at all during the creation of the installer, I have no idea what could be wrong, the files show up properly in my main OS on the USB drive.
Okay, interestingly enough, spamming F8 while booting got it to detect the ESD, I managed to finish the setup, but AFTER the SDI stage I'm getting a BSoD: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFFADE5E00F3C0, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x00000000000000000, 0x000000000000000000)
