Untested here. We can discuss these things in 1.7.x builds. I want to try Windows 7 / XP on Intel Compute Stick. Its only one HW I know with 32bit UEFI. For x64 it will be easier, I think there will be missed only few steps to make it fully automated. Currently its really needed to finish a release it “as is” no more research unless you want another year delay…
CRITICAL NOTE: For people who want to boot XP x64 on Coffee Lake and higher hardware with UEFI Class 3 using my method, remember to always ensure that the DebuggerEnabled option (or bootdebug in XP's entry using bcdedit, ensure that it's set to Yes) in BootIce is set to True and it's present in XP's BCD entry otherwise XP won't boot! (Kernel debugging doesn't need to be enabled, just that option!) No matter how many times I tried to boot XP without the DebuggerEnabled option set to True, it doesn't work! It only works when it's set to true, I don't know why!
This doesn't work with Flashboot. And Uefiseven requires vbemp to show the display otherwise XP x64 gives a BSOD.
I tested, this doesn't work with Uefiseven either. DebuggerEnabled must be set to True in XP's BCD entry using BootIce (in bcdedit, bootdebug must be set to Yes, it's the same option).
I think you have a setting wrong with Uefiseven. And with vbemp i'm in full resolution, so no problem.
Thanks for the news! If you don't mind, can we, the community please help you with the documentation to speed up the process?
In my case, there are missing dependencies in Dependency Walker, by the way, that's also why the Sidebar doesn't work.
I had Ryzen 4500U laptop and it doesn't have CSM option. I think pre-ryzen laptops are the latest CSM supported system.
