Could vista2esd win72esd be made after this project?Due to win2008 and r2 finally finished support for 2 months.
For Q3: Use Launch.cmd under auto-sysprep\sysprep\ ?? For Q2: Found in XP2ESD-1.6.2\plugins\updates\addons\x64 EDIT: Q1-Q3 are solved.
More likely I have not post anything. I have pushed some Extender changes to my GitHub few months back including compiled binaries. One day I will share new XP2ESD version, but there are some crucial TODOs and working alone is boring. And these things are related to ListDisk and POWIS. There is also new thing CSMWrap which needs to be integrated into setup process. My personal build is usable, but not idiot proof. And for release it must be idiot proof. Oh, and it will contain my custom Windows 7 update mechanism too. And in last years things changed, I don't have free days like before and I rather spend some free hours with different activies than trying to finish todos, which require days to write code and test changes on real environment.
Btw, there will be new ViStart rewritten to .NET 4.0. Lee have almost finished whole code. So native x64 builds will be possible.
@George King After Installation, and after snappy installed it drivers, the system got corrupted at first reboot, hall.dll missing, if that is patched then many files and eventually kernel goes missing..What to do
@completelymorph Edit Winpeshl.ini like this: Code: [LaunchApp] AppPath = %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Windows\system32\wpeinit.exe [LaunchApps] %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Windows\system32\wpeutil.exe, WaitForRemovableStorage %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Windows\system32\mshta.exe, "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\sources\launcher.hta"
I'll go against the grain, but I've honestly never understood the hype behind this project. It's gone from something simple and cute to a complete distortion of the originality of the Windows XP system. The operating system can be installed without a problem, even via USB stick, and it's always been there! It's full of bugs that will never be fixed on all real PCs because it's been touched so much. They remade the OnePiece XP Pack with two completely useless changes, when the only real bug was the "mrt.exe" file, which still persists and you have to fix it yourself. The only advantage is the speed of installation, but you understand that if instead of 20 minutes I have 5, but then I always have to cross my fingers, so be it... This project is too amateurish, I'm sorry to say, but it lacks expertise. They took ideas left and right and made a hodgepodge all at once, with results that, in my opinion, are terrible, as demonstrated by all the messages here, where 90% of the problems are not with the person but with the program itself. Obviously this is just a personal opinion, but good luck.
I'm in charge of UpdatePacks and I apologize that there have been several issues that have prevented the XP2ESD team from releasing new versions v1.7 I've also been unable to send the new x64/x86 UpdatePacks that fix all bugs. I can send the new version via DM.
