Hi, I'm getting "BOOTMGR is missing" error sometimes when I install Windows normally and simply capturing it myself. Did you fix this error in upcoming 1.6? Also what about adding the countdown at the end of setup for 1.6?
Sorry, but I don't know steps what you did on your custom captured images, so I don't now how to fix it. Just be sure you install system to first HDD and first partition, thats only limitation. I need more information to try find solution. If you use XP2ESD with auto-sysprep, you shouldn't encounter it. Countdown for what exactly?
I already know how to create custom VHD and capture it. I'm just getting "BOOTMGR is missing" error while it's actually booted via NTLDR.
Thats not true exactly. XP2ESD install Windows 7 BOOTMGR with legacy option which calls boot.ini + NTLDR. Can you explain your scenario more? Maybe is not correctly removed “system reserved partition”? This was fixed in past and setup.cmd remove partition listed in MBs. It can depends on used Setup Engine. Boot again into setup and see what partitions remain
@example12345678912345678 What Windows 7 / 10 ISO was used? are they untouched? This system reserved partition is removed automatically before reboot. If you delete it manually it, system should boot.
"Win7_x86.iso" and "Win10_x86.iso" Same as config.ini files. If you're talking about where I did download files from, I searched Windows 7 SP1 x86 ISO by searching SHA1 values, and downloaded Windows 10 from a website named "TechBench." Edit: Thanks, I finally managed to install Windows XP/Server 2003 with old service packs via XP2ESD. I just had to do the thing you said before and copy EULA file from I386 to this folder: Thanks again, but being have to removing "System Reserved" partition is a little bit non-sense. Because it seems unnecessary.
I need exact original ISO names to reproduce your error with removing system reserved partition. I will see in few hours results. I have launched XP2ESD on 131 ISOs. Hopefully I have improved and fixed all problems. I have repacked all OnePiece XP UpdatePacks v1.0.9 to fix languages attributes in entries.ini. ARA and HEB UpdatePacks were broken by default - I have fixed them too. .NET CABs needs to be updated too. But I can live with current build. Next step is to rebuild Embedded UpdatePacks to remove some obsolete files and review main INF. And I need to build 2003 UpdatePacks - all needed files are downloaded, only some tests are needed and some updates are lost in time - I will use English files with languages RES patch to get perfect result.
My current testing progress for upcoming v1.6 1) Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x86 + 24 WinPE languages 2) Windows 10 1507 x86 + 24 WinPE languages 3) Windows XP SP3 in all 24 languages and editions -> 131 input ISOs 4) Repacked UpdatePacks Results Processing time was around 53 hours install.wim 42,6 GB (45 784 199 050 bytes) install.esd 5,83 GB (6 267 857 568 bytes) ISO 6,12 GB (6 577 160 192 bytes)

All SP0 ISOs are downloaded from BA FTP, so SP0 ISOs are original. But for ISOs with Service Packs, I simply integrated service packs via command line and created ISO with nLite.
@example12345678912345678 I need only Windows 7 and 10 original ISO names or SHA. I want to reproduce bug that you encountered with system reserved partition.
Oh OK. Code: Windows 7: c352f8b7071a7893edecacc02af1421f1cb6bf32 Windows 10: 030c125fdacc5e44dcadcb0804d8d6d978be940d Just realized Windows 10 hash doesn't match. :/ I'm downloading another Windows 10 ISO right now. Also I have an idea, why not also exclude install.wim files when extracting Win7 and Win10 ISOs? This makes process a little bit faster. Edit: I've downloaded the ISO and it's SHA1 matches.
