Even with WinPE driver integration disabled and Windows 10 ISO which I know works, still no USB drivers...
@George King My bad, it's not an XP2ESD problem. Looks like my PC's USB doesn't even work with latest Windows 10 x86, only x64. Can I use x64 ISO in XP2ESD?
Yes, you can use x64 ISOs too (of course see supported Windows versions, unsupported can be added on request). XP boots without any issues with Windows 10 x64 bootmgr
WinPE languages are integrated on missing instal.wim vs boot.wim conditions automatically. This will be investigated in future in POWIS directly as it needs to be updated too with new things that was developed in XP2ESD. I made all these things to bring perfect Multi Language and Multi System AIO ISO. I'm using currently one USB to deploy XP to 11 Only RunOnceEx needs some small touch to bring OS limits for installers. I have already added some code, but this needs to be tested a lot
@George King Under XP, the version XP2ESD_v1.6_preview3 works after second run. Under win7 SP1 XP2ESD_v1.6_preview3 also needs a second run. Now second run with the new XP2ESD_v1.6 does not work under XP any more. Dietmar EDIT: Now I make a try under Win7 SP1 with the new XP2ESD_v1.6.
@ExtremeGrief Just add Server 2003 ISO into repository folder (CD1 only, conversion doesn’t work on R2)
I will try it myself too on XP / 7 English hosts. I don’t expect any issue on 7+. I prefer building images on 10.
@George King The same as before with XP2ESD_v1.6_preview3. Also under under Win7 Sp1 comes after Rufus the message, that Setup cant find ESD. Before, this error could be solved easy with a second run, now not, because the whole process is complete repeated. With XP2ESD_v1.6_preview3 the Setup procedure makes use of the already builded files, now all starts from beginning. A quick check for this behavior "ESD missing" are the 2 missing files in _output\boot de-de\bootmgr.exe.mui de-de\memtest.exe.mui Dietmar
