Nice catch. Confirmed. Just rename UBS\support\PAE folder to disable it for now. I have fixed it for next
@George King After a crazy lot of tests with the Dell Optiplex 780 I found out, that the one and only reason for the 0x7F Bsod is the modified acpi.sys Dietmar
Maybe you can catch issue in debugger and report to Movs topic on MSFN? Or this issue is here only when A5x11+A5x03 post compiled patches are used?
@George King No need to modify, because the Dell Optiplex 780 works with the original acpi.sys. Just put an switch in for original acpi.sys for compis, that show Bsod 0xF7. Bsod 0xF7 means Kernel Trap, so this isnt an easy to solve problem. I think, the real reason for this Bsod is, that we take the Sources from XP SP1 and this is not XP SP3 Dietmar PS: Interesting, this Dell Optiplex 780 becomes now a superfast compi, I would say just from feeling, faster than any new compi with win10 or win11^^.
@MilkChan Thanks, I have those Symbols for XP SP3. I mean other: The reason, why we see this Bsod 0x7F has a deeper reason, it is other than the A5 Bsods because of acpi.sys Dietmar
You can always configure this option in config.ini. It could be disabled. And If needed place your selected ACPI into USB\sources\$OEM$\$$\system32\drivers folder. It´s always configurable by user.
Turn off Windows Defender it tries to detect files, if yours is in between creating an ISO you will not succeed. please try again
it is not going even to this stage, and it Oracle software problem. when I use the same ISO in VMWARE - it work. (setup begin to work and copy files etc.)
