Immediately after flashing a modified bios, the screen went black. After holding the power button and turning it off, i unplugged everything. When I plug the power cord back in the charging light blinks on for a split second. I've tried all of the key combinations to get it to recover that I could find. i don't get any light, sound or fan.

    no fan no power ?
i seen lots of c655 go bad in flash but i never seen it no power.
u can order a bios chip on ebay easy. or if u curious u can order a SPI USB programmer and make a backup.bin of the chip
upload and i look at it to compare to bios dload from toshiba site.

sometimes u can make a crisdisk.exe then use the proper version phlash16 or ph161700 ( not sure which for this model without googlign for a while.)

read post below by same person.

rename to Bios.fd in crisdisk USB flash stick created in XP machine. use fn f or fn esc to activate

how to get the file out of the sc16v180.exe ? use www.7-zip.org

I doesn't respond to any key combinations. All I get when I plug the AC adapter in is the charge light on for a split second. I can't locate the BIOS chip on the motherboard, but maybe having EFI BIOS its set up different then I'm used too.
