Any W7/Server that has default key and can use either RE or PE can do rearm reset and task and eliminate nags
hello first of all thanks for this utility. thing is, it worked very well until now... suddenly even if it says it's well installed, it's not working anymore. it says "no rearms detected" 0xc0d4f009 it also says:IR5 done with a date and an hour... and there's the windows message saying me it's not genuine. can you help? thanks a lot (it's a home premium N)
So you did re-install IR5? Did you change drives around. Read instructions on the 4.2 version and try again please
I have a question on how to install Office 2010 VL, I downloaded Office 2010 Profesional Plus and Standard editions. They are both in ISO format. My question is do I install Office first then run Trilogy 4.2 after installation? Hope someone can help with the details. Also can someone help me find a program that I can use to run the ISO image out of my HD for installation purposes? Apreciate any help in this matter. Thanks in advance,
hey! no I didn't changed anything... yep i tried to uninstall/reinstall in teh menu nothing changed...it's strange what"no rearms detected" means? do i have to uninstall trilogy and reinstall it? how do i do that properly? thanks
Using Trilogy is fairly straightforward. Trilogy is actually 3 utilities in 1 - IR5 for Win7, IORRT for Office 2010, and ACS5.5T for Adobe. From the main menu, select which utility you want and then, select B to Uninstall or A to Install. It's as simple as that. For IR5, once your rearms are up, you must uninstall and then reinstall. The others do not require anything to be done after installation.
I've been using T4.2 successfully for the past few months on Win7 enterprise. Now it has run out of rearms and made my Windows not genuine. I assume I have to reinstall it. Now when I do that and it restarts, it fails to go into RE due to some boot error. (It's a dual boot setup with Win7 on H: and that has given me trouble on numerous occasions in the past.) It then tells me to reboot and insert the Win7 DVD, but when I do that it just stays at the blue screen and nothing happens. Any ideas?
IR5 doesn't make your windows not genuine. Have you read the instructions or played with IR5 options at all Use the ISO's I give links to in Trilogy and do a repair install Are you using any partition security software?
Well, it's not genuine all of a sudden, Trilogy says rearms = 0 and status = notification. At this point I gather I'm supposed to reinstall it so that's what I tried. No partition security software. Guess I'll try with your ISO.
I suggest to understand the solution you are using better. Read instructions and notice that instructions say when you have 0 rearms and 1 day left in the trial that IR5 facilitates you are to re-install IR5 My ISO's are perfect and it's always better to reinstall OS or do a repair install to keep your files IR5 keeps you in trial by automatically rearming instead of receiving the notification. This is the beauty of IR5 and of course you must spend 5 minutes every 6 months re-installing IR5 I wish you luck and let us know if you need any help TS
thanks I did that, again and again ,still telling me "no rearms detected" ... do i have to uninstall this (a real uninstall not in the menu) and clean the registry then doing it all over again? when you say "For IR5, once your rearms are up" do we have a limit for rearms?
An uninstall through the menu should suffice. There should be no need to go into the registry and do anything manually. Assuming that you are running a version of Win7 with SP1, you will initially have 5 rearms available. Once they're done, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall IR5 and then your rearms should be back to 5. If you do not have SP1 installed, you only have 4 rearms to play with. Perhaps you can have a look at the instructions (select A for IR5, then select E for the instructions) and see if everything makes sense. Maybe something is not happening (such as a required reboot) and IR5 is not being installed. Good luck.
thanks a ton definitely IR5 is not being installed... i read the instructions it says i have to restart in recovery mode. it doesn't. so when i reboot and hit f8 what do i choose? instruction says i have to choose "the option to repair your computer" and i don't know what is that exactly there's only : StartupRepair System Restore System Image Recovery Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool Command Prompt thing is o i have to be in that "repair mode or safe mode" to reinstall it? i did it in normal mode before. thanks
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium N, not installing at all. Installed it, restarted, got the menu asking if I wanted to run startup repair etc. Still not genuine.
The program was developed to normally click install then computer restarts directly into Recovery environment. IR5 put a bat file in the system directory and that bat file can only be run in Recovery environment. Check your system directory for IR5.bat file if it's there then use your OS install disk to get to the "repair your computer option" then enter C:IR5, D:IR5, E:IR5 etc to ultimately make sure that IR5.bat file is run in whatever system drive you actually have. Windows 7 Recovery environment has bug that renames system drive so that is why sometimes and rarely you have to enter D:IR5 or E:IR5, etc... That is the best I can help you with. Hopefully you have your W7 install disk handy. If not use the ISO's I provide link to in Trilogy and burn one to USB or DVD So you entered in cmd prompt and entered C:IR5 Did it say operation successful and automatically reboot Otherwise go over instructions again and use the two troubleshooting techniques at bottom of IR5 instructions Good luck
I found this trick: To determine what drive letter your Windows installation is located on, you can type this command at command prompt and then press enter: bcdedit | find "osdevice" This command will display output similar to : os device partition=D:. The drive letter after partition= is the drive that your Windows installation is located. Hope this help.
Yea now I have to change my "perfect" instructions ...lol But yea we can have better answer to what C:IR5, etc that will work in RE Thank you
In thinking about it, we could enter some code that as the computer is restarted or just before when installing IR5 it could show what to enter assuming the Code: bcdedit | find "osdevice" then do some code to put exactly what drive in RE So 1. Instructions will instruct user to look for what to enter in RE 2. Then after install option is chosen, For 10 seconds C:IR5 or whatever is shown with content "Please enter C:IR5 in command prompt" or "Please enter D:IR5 in command prompt", etc... This would include new instructions and might appeal to user and eliminate the one out of two troubleshooting techniques hence only if IR5 can't boot into RE do we need troubleshooting in instructions Only one problem though RE still renames system drive so to find out what drive RE will rename system drive to is the answer to this potential update
well to be honnest it's more complicated than that... i used to install trilogy on a remote pc using teamviewer...i have no access to that pc as it is in another country so once it reboots ,i don't know what the f*** is going on ,all i see is that the person is coming back under windows and when I'm reinstalling trilogy it simply says ; "no reams left" so i'm assuming that when it reboots c: is not the right drive ... and i have no way possible to explain the person to use an iso as it is something who don't kno<w s**t... i guess I am screwed with that ,and i don't even got the chance to install something else than this crappy N version... thanks again
