    Ok use Daz loader

    Or

Use my linked W7 non-N versions then get language update if needed

Otherwise we do this with IR5

    1. Try to detect OS local partition
    2. Go into RE and delete WPA reg key to reset rearms to 5 via SP1
    3. Install default key
    4. Install task to rearm auto 30 days for 5 months
    5. Eliminate nags to activate

IR5 works for most applications of W7/Server but when it doesn't I recommend Daz loader or Cody's KMS toolkit for MS products

    @jeanluk

I am doing the same thing all the time - I am in Peru, and I install Trilogy on Computers in Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. I need a person in front of the computer though to go thru the steps after restart. Can be a Novice as I use skype/chat/phone to get him/her thru the steps

Works perfect, I just did it yesterday - I haven't found a way of using teamviewer and do the RE part without someone on the other side. But that's a small price for such a cool script - imho

The instructions we're designed for the novice. There is no way to use TV to see the restart and into RE :nono:

    1. Click install
    2. Select cmd prompt
    3. Enter C:IR5

If fail use one of two troubleshooting advice

IR5 is not a rubic cube

    Hi,
here we go again. Last year I had some trouble getting IR4.bat to work. I'm quoting myself:

This time I'm using Trilogy 4.2 (IR5), but the result is the same. I've also tried running IR4, and I can confirm the empty warning window thing.

Now, last year I had a stroke of luck. Again, I'm quoting my own words:

This time, however, I have no update scheduled for installation, therefore I have to find another solution.

A bit of information: in order to simplify things, I've disconnected all my hard drives except for the one where Windows 7 is installed.
After installing IR5 and rebooting, in the command prompt I can access:
C:\ --> the Win7 partition, it'd be actually H:\ but Win7 changes my drive letters in repair mode
    D:\ --> another partition, normally I:\
X:\ --> no idea, apparently this is available only in repair mode

I can find IR5.bat in c:, but I've also tried copying and running it from d: and x:, with no luck.

One thing I've noticed is that, after running IR5 and rebooting, I have these new files in the root of H:

    installkey.bat
    key.vbs
    launch.bat

I understand that these are all created by IR5.bat, but I also see that they should delete themselves after execution, so something is definitely going wrong.

    Any advice?

Thank you in advance for any help.

UPDATE: Ok, I figured out that IR5 was creating all script files with explicit references to "C:\".

I've renamed IR5.bat as IR6.bat and changed all the above references from "C:\: to "H:\".
Then I installed IR5 and, after reboot, I typed IR6 instead of IR5.

    It worked! :D:D:D

This is something that you guys should probably take into account in future versions.

Hope others may find this helpful.

lol...All you have to do is install and type H:IR5 no need to change stuff

IR5 puts IR5.bat in system drive although RE will sometimes change drive letter

    Please re-read instructions

Again Trilogy 4.2 is final and the best it can be after almost 2 years of development

    Thank you

    Merry X-mas

    hi everyone.
    First post, first issue...
I'm running a WHS2011 server. I install IR5, but when it's done, the computer doesn't reboot in recovery environment.
I've tried to reboot ùanually and press F8, but i have a error message : due to hypothetical hardware modification, windows can't go there. I've tried again, the computer offer me to choose on which device i want to boot... Long story short, i can't start RE....

I've tried from WHS2011 DVD, but the only task that whs2011 repair program was looking for an file to restore whs2011 from a previous version. I haven't had the choice to get prompt commande.

I've noticed that IR5 is store on the volume E:

    Any idea ?

Sorry for my "almost" english ! :p

After a night of insulting computers, electronic, my neighbours cat... i finally get ir5 to rearm !!!!

It seemed that my RE was corrupted. So i took a windows 7 dvd, initiate the repair mode/RE and i launch ir5 from there.

I've got a brand new 30day trial period for my whs2011.

Is there a way to rearm every 30 day automatically and just reinitiate ir5 every 6 month ? I'm confused with all the post i've read in this topic.

You have to use rearm option if you have gotten notification. This happens because user comp is not on during task moment. Otherwise task is trustworthy service especially if IR5 installed task ;)

I'd suggest reinstalling 2011 and make sure the 2011 is latest version/build as to the key via IR5 is latest

It is best to let IR5 task rearm and if comp is off and task does not run then use rearm option

So basically IR5 does what you are asking of it :sith:

No problem and good job fixing it :p

Hey guys, I'm having an issue all of a sudden with IORRT that it would awesome if you could help me out with. I've had it working fine for several months, and today when I booted up my computer and opened Word I was given the "enter product key" box. I'm not really sure what happened to force this. Any ideas on what to do next? For reference, I'm running Windows7 x64 using Daz's loader. This is the first issue I've had with Office not being recognized as activated.

Use the status button and what does it say?

    Have you tried the rearm/restore?

When I hit 'b' for IORRT, it just comes up with "No office 2010 VL detected". I can't get any farther to check status, rearm/restore, etc.

Had you recently installed or uninstalled anything?

I had this issue when I tried to migrate from x64 Office to x86. I never found out what it was, but something had been left in my system from the previous installation. Any new install I tried was instantly flagged, and Trilogy would give me the same "not detected" message with my new x86 install. I tried the Microsoft tool kit, and some of Microsoft's own tools to try and clean things up, but I didn't find the answer. I didn't dig as hard as I could have though, the way I have files and system setup, it was faster for me to just re install windows and forget about it.

Anyway, to recap, I had that issue when something from my x64 install was still on my drive, or in my registry somewhere. From what I read there has been some limited success with a combination of the Microsoft toolkit, the Microsoft Mr. Fix it thing, and maybe even the registry cleaner from CCleaner. Please post if you get it figured out! I'm curious as well.

Hmm, I used Cody's toolkit originally to convert the office from retail to VL, then switched to IORRT because I was tired of Avast flagging autokms. When I just ran cody's toolkit and hit 'check' under activation, it says '<no installed product keys installed or possible license error>. When I try to run EZ-Activator it gives me "Cannot use EZ-Activator because your licensing details are corrupt."

Any ideas guys? I'd prefer not to do a wipe of Windows, but if I have to it's better to do it now between semesters. Also, I never had another version of office on my computer, so it wouldn't be from migrating from x64 to x86 or anything like that.

Thatguychuck, I'll look into the combo you mentioned and report back later on. Thanks.
