I haven't used your program yet, just one question about it in relation to Win7 activation. I've been using the slgmr rearm command, this works well however what's very annoying is because windows is in the "grace period" I get pop ups saying "X Days left. Activate now!". (The copy is still perceived as genuine btw). This sucks because I play a lot of video games, so these annoying pop ups minimise the game and can cause problems. Ok to my question: Does your program (IR5) disable those pop ups/notifications?
Hi timesurfer, I get pop ups saying X Days left. Activate now. I checked the status in Trilogy and it says "remaining windows rearm count 5" Is there a way to turn off the pop ups ? Thanks.
You didn't mess with clock did you or is your clock wack? Like BIOS battery is low? Check couple things: 1. It sounds like your rearms reset correct? 2. Go into task scheduler and look for IR5 task 3. Do this cmd Code: REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\Activation" /v NotificationDisabled /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f You can copy then in cmd prompt just right click and paste then press enter This cmd should have been done but IR5 has some non-IR5 related problems that are usually solved Later
No didn't mess with the clock, it's a new PC. Added the code in cmd and it completed successfully. Thanks for your help.
@ Timesurfer My curiosity: when Win is out of rearms, if I don't remember to reset IR5 (uninstall, then reinstall), but I do it after two or three days, IR5 will work anyway or I'll have to reinstall Windows?
Install 3 times today. Windows 7 Professional 64Bit retail dvd. 1. install 2. Did not do any updates after succesfully install Windows 3. Ran Trilogy 4.2 4. Install, rebooted to Recovery Environment. 5. Choose language, enter login and password. 6. choose command prompt 7. Enter C:IR5.bat 8. No problem reboot itselft and back to RE 9. It keep doing this no matter what i do. Try doing repair by using some commands, or even try using dvd retail for repairing and nothing. It is almost seriously something screw up the whole windows ......never ...EVER enter this kind of trouble....feel like a total noob when this happen....freaking hell going on??? Someone ever enter this kind of issue???
Yea use IR5 anytime I've heard it happen maybe 3 times in 2 years. I'm guessing it's not IR5 problem. When W7 is commanded to boot into RE there is bcd entry. I believe this is why it reboots cause of bcd entry. I forgot the cmds to clear this so boot into windows Maybe someone help?
