Unable to install & unistall IORRT Hi, This is my first post. I want to thank Timesurfer and everyone for creating and contributing to Trilogy. I used Trilogy 1.3 a couple of months ago on the retail version of MS Pro trial. It worked until a couple of days ago. I tried running Trilogy 1.3, Trilogy 2.0, and Trilogy 2.1 to no avail. Running the .cmd as administrator, the following were observed: - Trilogy 1.3 (when choose to install IORRT): Displayed "No rearms detected..." (when choose to uninstall IORRT): Displayed "IORRT is already uninstalled..." (when choose option 'Status'): Display "IORRT is not installed..." - Trilogy 2.0 & Trilogy 2.1 display "No Office 2010 VL detected" I still find the C:\IORRT folder and all its subfolders and files even though Trilogy 1.3 shown that IORRT is not installed. I tried to uninstall MS Office Pro but that failed too. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks. Useful info ---------- Installed Microsoft Office Professional 2010 Windows 7 Home Premium
Hello, I have the opportunity to test the TRILOGY on the following configurations (these are official images from MSDN): - Windows XP Professional SP3 (Polish), Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus VLK (En-Us + Polish lp) - Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 (Polish), Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus VLK (En-Us + Polish lp) - Windows 7 Enterprise with Service Pack 1 (En-Us + Polish lp), Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus VLK (En-Us + Polish lp) Where can I find the latest beta/dev build of the TRILOGY? On what I should pay attention during testing? Congratulations on a great solution timesurfer! I am sorry for my english.
First post here, just wanted to say thanks to Timesurfer and everyone else who contributed to Trilogy. Definitely appreciate all the hard work that went into this!

I want to let you know that I tested the application on the following configurations: Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 x86/x64 (Polish) + Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus VLK (En-Us + Polish lp) Windows 7 Enterprise with Service Pack 1 x86/x64 (En-Us + Polish lp) + Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus VLK (En-Us + Polish lp) I checked all possible scenarios and have not noticed any errors. Everything works like a Swiss watch. Thank you TRILOGY TEAM!
I'm glad all is working for you and thanks for all your feedback. If any issues come up, please feel free to post them here.
I'll see if I can pull up a copy of Trilogy 1.3 and see if I can find out exactly what needs to be undone. It might take a day or two though as time is tight right now. However, would you be able to answer a few questions which might help out? 1. Which version of Windows 7 Home Premium are you using (i.e.: 32bit or 64bit, English or other language)? 2. If you uninstalled Office, how did you do so (i.e.: using an uninstaller program, using add/remove programs, etc.)?
Thank for looking into the matter Tomah, the following is the info. you asked for: 1. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, English, 64bits. 2. I used CODYQX4's Office 2010 Toolkit and EZ-Activator to uninstall Office. I initially tried uninstalling using Windows' Control Panel but an error message was displayed stating that Office cannot be uninstalled completely. Cheers.
Can I simply delete the hidden IORRT folder, its subfolders as well as the task(s) in task scheduler? Pls. advise the task(s) name that IORRT has created if deletion is recommended. Cheers.
Ok. I will check line by line...but the code has to many blank lines. Is it anyway? About IR5...Like you said: lets take this slow...because i never used and i don't understand it but i will try... I have not had time to read everything but I think very appropriate and necessary especially for beginners. You learn some tips and how the program works and knows where to find support ...Very good. Let's go ahead...
In most cases, that should be all that is required. I was under the impression that there were some other issues that you ran into. So yes, delete the entire IORRT folder (including any subfolders and files). The 2 tasks that are created are named IORRT (which, for some reason, seems to not exist on your system) and HYBRID. Hope that helps.
I think there was probably something happening during his cut and paste. I'm sure the extra blank lines should not be there as they will cause issues. I'm in the same boat here. I've haven't really taken a close look at the IR5 code. I have not worked with the RE side of things so I'll have to figure things out first before I can comment on any of this. I don't see anything wrong with including some extra information for users. What's the harm?
Hey TS, not to move things in a different direction but just a quick aside question. I know you have a "different" copy of Trilogy floating around but, I was just wondering if the MDL copy really should contain the C choice for ACS5T? Just wanted your thoughts on this. Feel free to ignore this question if you wish.
Yea dude I'm gonna keep individual functions separate by blank lines for readability I'm just trying to eliminate excessive troubleshooting questions plus people who don't want to join MDL and ask how to use ISO download will have good shot at being autonomous with the ISO usage tips No I think they need to know I wanted for them a simple complete solution for adobe CS5 Any one with the slightest clue can find torrent copies (unauthorized) versions with adobe keys It's pretty easy to find CS5 MC key or pm me like dudes did today or simply click on my name link above my avatar and visit my homepage which is my torrents with the (unauthorized) version
