Well, there was not error message about that - but to be honest, I do not understand why would this tool need the MBR... Daz's Loader is different... Anyway, HAL7600 did not complain and it worked, so I guess I am sticking with that for now... Thank you for the replies.
well you need MBR for Disk for holding the partion of the disk well you can use hal if its work and if you have sp1 installed hide it if it shows up in windows update since it have a little problem with sp1
You will have an MBR only in case you use a disk that has been partitioned and formatted with a legacy OS. Just do a clean install of WinDOS 7 SP1 x64 on a blank HDD, you will see that there is no MBR - and there is no way to use old-style partitioning. HAL7600 installed just fine on a clean SP1 install - only problem is that Windows Update shows the SP1 update pending - which might be due to some system files replace. The system remains SP1 though...
@timesufer Thanks a lot for your cool tool. I wonder for Windows Rearm that Do I have to click rearm after every 30 days or it will automatically rearm after every 30 days ? I understand that I must re-install rearm at the time I get almost 3 rearms =119 days. Thanks again.
If IR5 installed correctly, you should have a task (you can have a look using "task scheduler") which will rearm every 30 days. This task is set to happen in 30 days at the time you originally installed it (which is why there is mention to install during a time that your computer will most likely be on). This continues until you are out of rearms, which is when you will need to uninstall and reinstall IR5 again (which will reset your rearms).
Just get rid of shutdown line at end of install code so it won't try to reboot Also you might be able to use snapshot software to capture the error Thank you
Hey there, glad I found where the genious started. Was running IORRT from trilogy 1.3 on MS Office 2010 Plus VL for a while, with windows 7 64bit pro (legit) maybe close to a month now. I tried to do some searching in this thread but found lots of windows and coding comments. Today my office started doing some configuration when I opened it and now it's being reported as unactivated copy. I tried to re-run the iorrt and re-arm I guess but then office complained the process of activation check was cancelled and program would close. Great I thought so I uninstalled everything (office and trilogy1.3), found this thread and installed office 2010 plus VL again and tried to install trilogy 2.1... but keeps coming up with no re-arms detected and iorrt shows not installed. So I'm wondering, what I need to do or proper procedure to fix myself again. Many thanks.
2010 is the most safest program around and sometime it borks without reason so just activate with cody's EZ-activator and that will restore rearms to 5 hence IORRt will work fine as it has mine for 5 months
