Here is question asked in TTG that I will answer here...lol Question: Sorry about this noob question, but what is MPC ? Answer: What is MPC? OMG Where have you been ...lol First MPC stands for Manual package console It is the semi "manual" way to install IR5 Only two problems exist with IR5 both caused by outside problems that affects installation/rearm reset/product key install 1. Usage of acronis partition softwares that block this cmd from running Code: reagentc /boottore that auto restarts into RE avoiding pressing F8 mad like when BIOS screen flashes 2. RE can't 100% of time pick local drive to find IR5.bat to run. So MPC it is made 100% manual and more attention to what local drive actually is guaretees MPC.bat file running thus rearm reset. Also once in a while product key does not install (probably due to user error) and MPC has just product key install to make that automatic. Also for the rare few that just want to install the task and anti-nag reg setting they can just click install on the MPC. So it has multiple usage but primarily is to ensure rearm reset. Try trying it out to see how it works. It won't affect loader so all you have to do after done testing is reinstall OEM SLP key for your version
Hello, I successfully installed IR5 a month ago and now my computer is invalid again-- I forgot to mark my calendar to re-install IR5 -- anyways, now when I attempt to re-arm, no re-arms are detected - status shows IR5 - ready , reinstalling goes smoothly, but I do not return to a state of having rearms or validation -- tried the MPC option (although I did not meet the specifications for requiring it) with similar results. My only guess is that if you let your computer go past the trial period, then the installation becomes un-resettable? Thanks for your help -Codimo
That interpretation is incorrect! Try using reinstalling or using the MPC. Either installation will give you 6 months win 7 usage without nags, etc... Basically in winRE (Recovery console) you'll see the local drive being shown like D:, C:, E, etc then either copy/paste the MPC.bat file to appropriate drive or restart into windows and place manually MPC.bat into drive winRE says local drive is in? Once it runs rearms reset will commence the IR5 will work fine for 6 months Later Please communicate further regrading installing IR5 p.s. This is not that hard but when getting the idea of resetting rearms you'll have no problem using IR5 Thanks Take care
Thanks for the quick response! I re-installed again with the MPC method as per your instructions and everything appeared to go successfully. When I tried the rearm option however, there were none still. Do I need to leave the computer running for a significant amount of time immediately after the install? Is it possible that past "cracks" are obstructing the IR5 process? Thank you again! -Codimo
Can I delete the Trilogy .cmg file after installing it? Also, after the rearms are finished and I unistall Trilogy (I have v2.1) can I install the latest one (currently v2.8)?
