    System specs:

    Homebuilt Intel I7-1366 2.6Ghz processor
    6GB triple-channel RAM
    ATi 4870-1GB vidcard
    Asus P6T Extreme mobo
    Multiple HDs.

Problem: Up until today, I had been using my 58" Samsung Plasma HDTV as a monitor, 16:9 ratio, 1920x1080P. AWESOME display, lovely for gaming, etc. However, the TV has been slowly dying, so I moved in it's place a newer Hisense 55H6B Smart TV as a monitor. I set up my roommate's computer to use this TV as a display, and it did just fine. However, when I hooked my computer up to it, it ran about 1/4 of the screen off to the left, enough to prevent me from dragging & using dialog boxes that popped up (Catalyst Control Center would be one of them). Also, display properties showed *3* monitors, which I can't figure out why for the life of me, and the main one being the TV.

I need to figure out how to get the computer to display properly. I've mucked around with the settings, and now it won't display unless in Safe Mode (1400x1050), and when I boot into standard mode, I get the "No Signal" display box on the screen.

If this is in the wrong forum, please move. thx

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
