Simply updating windows never caused harm to activations, in the win xp/vista/7 era with badly cracked methods, yes, but not with proper activation methods like KMS(38), HWID or tsforge.
If you activate Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100) with ZeroCID before 26100.4188 and update, the activation will be lost. This is also true with feature upgrade (ex. 23H2 -> 24H2). In any other case, no.
