@Enthousiast yep same here but with Windows 10 LTSC 2019 x64; so I need make use of another solution...
Noob trying to understand here : I read a lot but have question and need guidance from generous people. I know that is a many questions but at least I made the effort to read the entire thread little every day taking notes so if you could agree to answer numbers by numbers to honor my efforts that would be greatly appreciated even though you dont owe me anything . Im learning english but can understand. The pc has win 10pro with an activated digital key (NOT LINKED TO A MS ACCOUNT). Pc runs a local account . I dont like MS spying and forcing us to go through loops. I would prefer not to have a MS account linked to Pc . I dont like cloud stuff and dont use sync between device. The summary of my notes for 3 years ESU tell me that theres seems to be 3 techniques -a HWID that gives 3 years -a Tsforge method that gives 3 years . - maybe different Zero and SCID 1)do those choices all exempt users from linking a MS account to a digital licence or pc? I m noob but read all the tread and note notes . it is a bit confusing for me since some things are meant for windows activation and other to get the ESU . -The pc already has win 10 pro legit licence and only needs the 3 years ESU. I read some place that Hwid is better and other place Tsforge is better . 2)I noted that Hwid offers better persistance, in which scenario Tsforge does not offer equal persistance? - I noted TSforge has actually advantages over HwID: 1. It doesn't rely on MS servers at all, and 2. thus, it can be done fully offline, and 3. it is reversible. Plus, 4. it doesn't care about hardware changes or transfers to other machines. 3)Which risk comes with relying on MS servers? 4)In which hardware change would HwId be bad? how bad? just redoing the HwId another time? 5)There is SCID and zeroCid also that seems to give 3 years, how does it compares to HwId and TSforge? 6)What maintenance is there to do after for each? Is it advisable to check maybe every 3 months if the esu are getting into the pc ? Maybe there is a technique that requires things to be done to keep receiving the Esu and other technique not? 7)Apart from said lesser persistance are there other way that TSforge is disadvantageous compared with the other techniques? Thanks for your indulgence,
To start with, HWID only activates Windows. TSforge (ZCID/SCID) is the only way to activate 3 years ESU. Now for your questions: 1) Yes 2) If you reinstall/feature upgrade the OS, the licenses activated with TSforge are no longer activated. In your case, it means that you will have to re-activate ESU if you reinstall Windows 10. 3) StaticCID uses MS servers for phone activation. You won't need to worry about this, MAS script will auto-select ZeroCID which is fully offline. 4) Motherboard change, or changing several parts (CPU/RAM/Disk) at once 5) StaticCID and ZeroCID are 2 of the methods in TSforge. 6) None, just wait for your updates every Patch Tuesday (2nd Tuesday of each month) 7) For Windows 10, no.
Addendum: The check is indeed based on a hardcoded maximum of 259200 minutes (180 days). If the period is greater than this, it simply clamps it to this maximum before returning the value. This clamping does not affect the actual underlying value of the expiration period, so KMS4k functionality is completely unaffected.
I have a question and I don't know if this has already been asked here. I activated ESU with Abbodi's solution for one year on my Windows 10 Pro. Can I switch to the TSFORGE solution for three years of updates at any time? Thanks in advance for any helpful information.
Greetings, I am hoping you can help me with the code to use in setupcomplete.cmd to activate Office LTSC 2021-2024 + Windows 10 LTSC and 11 using Mass_AIO.cmd. I have researched to get the command line but have come up empty. I want to use it in clean installations. Very grateful.
But that so far only applies to the "newest" Windows 11 branches? Is there any danger for the classic KMS? Yes, and Consumer ESU will be suspended. That means WU could display a (faux) expiry message for some time. This message does not affect the actual eligibility for getting updates.
26100.7019 is a Release Preview update, so it should be coming to Retail soon. As for normal KMS, it is unaffected by these changes for now, but it may be scheduled for deprecation.
I have Win 10 Enterprise 22H2 installed. Used MAS TSForge to activate Windows and Office. When I do a Check Act Status it shows 1.2.3.6 year ESU addon licensed, but if I go to Windows Update it still shows Your Version of Windows has reached end of support. I don't use any MS Account. Any help or advise please
