I got this message in Excel "SIGN IN TO OFFICE It looks like your stored credentials are out of date. Please sign in with the account you use with office so we can verify your subscription." I deleted my SSO_POP in credential manager but that didn't fix it so I decided to remove and reinstall activation with KMS_VL_ALL. I think KMS_VL_ALL changed my Office licence from 365 Apps for Business to Mondo 2016. So I used TSForge to try and change edition to 365 Apps for Business (Option 7 then Option 1 then Option 1.When I get to here it says Installed Office Editions O365Business Retail) then activate using TS Forge but office licence is still Mondo 2016. TSForge states Mondo has all the latest features. But I seem to remember using TSForge a few months ago and it did change the licence to 365 Apps for Business. What did I do wrong?
I just ran that option. After it completes a quick repair of office, when I open office it shows the licence as 365 Apps for Business but it says that activation is needed. When I activate using TSForge it converts 365 Apps for Business to Mondo 2016. Not a big deal, I suppose. Ho hum.
Fixed, ran Fix licensing again then activated using OHook. 365 Apps for Business is installed and activated. That whats I was doing wrong - used TSForge to activate instead of OHook. What was confusing me was when I checked activation with the Mondo 2016 licence installed, TSForge said OHook for permanent Office activation is installed but it must not have been. Stored Credentials error has also disappeared. Thank you, Wannabe
All methods can be detected in this, but it requires a bit more knowledge. However, there is one easy clue in staticCID: if you activate Windows and Office, and check the IID with slmgr /dlv, you will see it's the same in both products, which isn't possible in normal conditions.
