HWID activation is stored on MS servers. On clean install it activates automatically when yo go online.
It switches to VOLUME channel, de-activating the hwid license (it still is kept stored on MSFT servers for when you re-enter the generic HWID key for Pro (3V66T). You seem to mix ESU with activation, KMS_VL_ALL is VOLUME activation, it has no ESU option, MAS TSForge only. So when you want to have your windows install VOLUME activated then use KMS_VL_ALL for activation and when you want to have Win 10 ESU enabled then you use MAS > TSForge > ESU for enabling the ESU.
So i don't have to use both KMS and ESU after clean install? If i activate with KMS only i dont get ESU updates thats why i also used MAS-ESU after KMS activation.
There seems to be a lot of confusion here. The main activation can be done by HwID, TSForge and KMS. Not every activation channel is available on each SKU, though, so, MAS will occasionally need to switch Editions. The ESU licenses are applied on top of the main one (which stays untouched). ESU is NOT available via KMS! ESU keys are MAK and can only be applied by TSForge.
