Indeed, BypassESU is a truly great project, and I've been using it for many years. Now, I just want to try a newer, more elegant method that doesn't require patching any system files. However, it seems that TSforge's support on the Longhorn platform is still too limited at the moment.
Except .NET 4.x updates, you don't need to patch any system file if you install updates manually even for .NET 4.x, you could use repackaged updated installer instead
Hello, I am finding difficulty in activating office on windows 7 embedded. Anyone knows a fix It always says edition not supported.
Is there a way activate windows evaluation edition namely 7 embedded standard or 8.1 embedded pro or enterprise
A reply: Maybe, you are looking for this: guide-free-offline-windows-pre-activation-method-all-versions.88772 Personally untested. It is technically detailed and has plenty of knowledge put into it. Relevant as well: windows-10-11-and-server-evaluation-repository.80979/page-6#post-1858316 My two cents.
That's hardly called activation, they just extend the evaluation period, it's hard to read as it is published but that i could find in it. Better advise people to just install non evaluation ISOs, they are readily available.
FYI, Windows Loader does support the regular Server 2008 (NT 6.0), so does alternate KMS emulator frontends like Microsoft Toolkit. A BIOS SLIC mod is another method as well. Since this is the TSforge support thread, it would be better if you share some reports in the appropriate thread so that we can diagnose the issue with SLIC emulation.
It needs small fix https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...icrosoft-products.63471/page-105#post-1693245
Office on Windows 7 does unfortunately not use the SPP activation system, but its own one (osppsvc). Thus, activating Office here is not supported yet. Here's the post directly from the source: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...dows-esu-office-mas.88999/page-5#post-1873168
