    Hello,

I'm looking to see if there's a way in Windows 7 to command my monitors to enter their standby mode (as if the computer was off or in standby) and be awoken either with mouse/peripheral input if possible, or by maybe a hotkey.

I remember there being a button I believe on the Charms Bar in windows 8.1 (or maybe it was in my very brief time using windows 10) that would do this very same thing. Is there a way I can replicate this somehow in Windows 7?

I'm not looking for "why don't you use the power button on the monitor?" I have three monitors and pressing those every time gets tiresome.

    Thank you all in advance,

    Sumiko

Isn't that a native function in "power options"? Turn monitor off after x minutes (and turn on when mouse or keyboard is used)?
